Ducky Jr., our wheaten Ameraucana rooster as a baby
Penny, one of my black mottled bantam EE hens
Rolly, my black mottled bantam EE rooster, playing peek-a-boo!
Dottie, my other black mottled bantam EE hen
My Olandsk Dwarf breeding trio in the front, and our head hen for the bantam run, Elsafish. Elsafish is a Swedish Hedemora and she is very bossy :)
Henley, one of the Olandsk Dwarf hens
Ruby, our show bantam buff Brahma
One of the Tolbunt Polish chicks I hatched last year and gave to one of my broody silkies :)
Bruno, my charismatic Olandsk Dwarf rooster. He is beautiful, sweet, gentle, and accomodating to the ladies. Every chicken respects him and he is not at all aggressive to anyone. We love him.
Eevee, my first love rooster. I wanted a Lavender Orpington hen so badly and he was my first try. He got fowl pox and didn't make it sadly. I lost him on Christmas Day in my arms :(
Puff, my boy. The roosters get my heart so easily! Sadly, Puff started to be a bit overly aggressive towards everyone once he was top roo...so we had to rehome him. I cried for weeks before finally deciding he had to find a better situation that limi
My only white d'Anver that hatched from shipped eggs last year. None of the others made it. This is Oliver, the orphan boy!
Baby Porcelain d'Anvers
Oliver, the orphan all grown up!
My bobtail cochin pair. Lost the pullet to reproductive issues. SO devastated--she was my favorite and talked to me nonstop. I really miss that beautiful girl. :(
Ducky Jr. at a show in Fresno in 2023
Jager, my show quality black d'Anver rooster. He's frisky and broke his sickle feathers, UGH
Onyx, one of my new black d'Anver hens. That beard is everything!
Quail checking out their new digs
Silvie, my first silver quail rooster. He was a beautiful boy, but didn't know how to play nice with others and got beat up a lot. We lost him this winter, he was almost 2. :(
Pansy Fee hen. This is definitely my favorite quail pattern and for some reason they are always the most gentle of the quail hens!
Baby snuggels!
Quail chicks, they grow so very fast!!
One of Silvie's children, another silver rooster. I am finding in my stock, that silver girls are tough to hatch!
Some of my black mottled d'Anver breeding group. I am trying to improve the blacks body type and bearding and size, so the ladies are with my mottled rooster. Any that are black will be separated out and all the mottled babies will be grown out to se
New brooder! Rent-A=Coop has a really nice, affordable set up! Very happy with it!

Picture of me enjoying baby chick snuggles!

One of my throw in some fun surprises chicks from my most recent hatch of d'Anvers and ameraucanas. She is the result of a gold laced satin hen being mated with a confetti colored silkie rooster! I also think she's gonna be a frizzle!
Ruby is very spoiled. He rode in her lap all the way home from Fresno.
Domino, the rooster
The bobtails getting love before we lost Taunus :(
Another one of my new black d'Anver hens, Ebony :)

For my mixed coop I built from scraps!
Baby Porcelain d'Anvers 2023
Part of the "Love Shack" I built for allowing breeding for the season. Coop in the middle, runs on each end. I hadn't quite finished the run on the left side yet, but it works great!
New Quail pen. Tarp makes it look a bit sketchy haha, but we had a LOT of rain this winter! It's a chicken run ziptied to a metal above ground garden bed, and they love it!
The Scrambled Egger all built with it's temporary run on our patio. Don't want it staying here in summer, but this is it for now! The Tiny Dinos (Modern Game bantams) call this home currently.
This was the crew I had in the coop after I finished building it. They are now in the big kid bantam run, and the Tiny Dinos took over. Yes, I added wallpaper to the inside :D
